This feeder has been built to last for years. Very strong construction and left in it's most raw form of all natural wood. The wood has been clear coated several times to protect the finish from rain and snow.

A solid vinyl floor which is "peck proof" has been added to the feeding area. It is so easy to clean by taking a garden hose and spraying out old seed remains. Holds up to 7 days of seed without the need to re-fill.
